Version 1.5.0 of WinLASH 222-17 for the Rural Health Clinic Medicare Cost Report is now available for download from our website. Version 1.5.0 incorporates CMS Flash #5 which corrects the instructions to Worksheet C, Part II and adds a new Level I edit 1490S.
All WinLASH 222-17 users should immediately download and install this update.
WORKSHEET C, Part II instructions now read as follows:
Line 10.--Enter the number of Medicare covered visits excluding mental health services. Obtain this from your contractor records. This visit count must equal the visits on Worksheet S‑3, column 2, line 2.
Line 12.--Enter the number of Medicare covered visits for mental health services. Obtain this from your contractor records. This visit count must equal the visits on Worksheet S-3, column 2, line 4.
Edit 1490S ensures that visit counts match between Worksheet C, Lines 10 and 12 and Worksheet S-3, Column 2, lines 2 and 4.
1490S: Total Medicare medical visits on Worksheet S-3, line 2, column 2, must equal the total Medicare medical visits on Worksheet C, Part II, line 10, sum of columns 1 and 2; and total Medicare mental health visits on Worksheet S-3, line 4, column 2, must equal the total Medicare mental health visits on Worksheet C, Part II, line 12, sum of columns 1 and 2.
